I include these links because I’m tremendously thankful for the environment at CGCC, where spiritual and intellectual coexist and blend well. Most of my friends at CGCC not only allow, but outright encourage, exploration of points such as those explored in this site.

As much as I appreciate CGCC’s intellectual openness, another variable impresses me more: even in classes where some of us put forth concerns such as these, we share the room with others who maintain a traditional, sometimes even literalist view of God. Most disagreements on these things occur respectfully. This camaraderie gives me even more encouragement than the intellectual honesty.

This does allow for strong disagreements on other issues, usually more pragmatic concerns.
