This detail shot from the triptych above: I'd never seen
ceramic
vessels with handles like these. We saw many of them in a museum nearby.
That just adds a dash of whimsy to the total work.
There's Victor at the far left, posing with his horses.
The wooden triptych (foreground, about 2x3 ft.)
corresponds
to the painting (background, about 7x7).
At any size, painful for Victor in the center.
And I get to be with the loveliest art of all.
