Jan observes the irony in the name of the town, because our hotel has very little hot water.

And this is my actual shot from the peak itself.
I'd say about 35-45 people were up there, spread around.

 

 

 

Notice some tiny subjects praying to me?

(I just asked another guy to take this shot to show the perspective,
though the city is almost completely obscured by the clouds.
I didn't realize how the composition would turn out.)

 

Especially considering the walls in a shot like this (above), Jan observed that
Macchupicchu probably wasn't actually abandoned. They all died building it.
